About me and my therapy practice
As well as running my private practice, through which I offer counselling for a range of issues and personal difficulties, I have over 20 years of experience of working in counselling agencies. I have taught Integrative Counselling to degree level and I am currently teaching on the Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling, Diploma in Supervision and a certificate in counselling in Exeter and Poole. I welcome trainee counsellors seeking to develop their personal awareness as part of their training. I offer supervision to groups and individual counsellors and those in other caring professions. I worked in the South East for over twenty years but since 2016 my practice has been located in the Weymouth / Dorchester area following a move to Dorset. I offer 30 minutes free of charge so that potential clients can find out where and how I work with no obligation to continue.
My Qualifications include, BA Hons Counselling, Diploma in Supervision and Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling. I am also a registered nurse in Mental Health. I have additional training and experience of working with people who have experienced loss during pregnancy and adults who experienced childhood abuse.
