About me and my therapy practice

Sometimes it can be difficult to talk to friends or family about personal issues.  The counselling relationship can give you a safe place to discover and explore your thoughts and feelings, allowing you to make your own decisions and deal with things in your own way.

I work with adults and young people covering a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, abuse, low self-esteem, bereavement and relationships.  If you would like to discuss your particular needs, please feel free to contact me for an informal chat.

I have been practising as an integrative counsellor since 2006 and am a registered accredited member of the BACP.  Working as an integrative counsellor allows me to tailor my practice to suit each individual.  I believe the relationship between the counsellor and the client is of the utmost importance.  In the past, I have worked for the YMCA and the Cambridgeshire branch of Mind.  I believe the counselling relationship can empower people to make the changes they want to make, encourage self acceptance, leading to developing confidence and self esteem.
