About me and my therapy practice
When things get too much, it can take a lot of courage to ask for help. It can be difficult to know where to start and it's not uncommon to feel bad for feeling bad. If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed, or difficult feelings are impacting on the quality of your life, you are not alone and therapy can provide the support you need.
Maybe you feel like you've been treading water for a while and realise that now is the right time to do something differently? Maybe you are struggling to keep your head above water and realise now is the time to reach for that buoyancy aid? Either way, asking for help is an act of self-care and one that make all the difference.
Practice description
Speaking about our difficulties can be a source of anxiety but it can also be a huge relief.
My aim as a therapist is to create a safe space in which you feel able to explore the things that are troubling you. My background and training is integrative, which means I draw on a range of counselling theories and tailor my approach to suit your needs.
I work one to one with adults and young people (16+) either face to face in Tunbridge Wells or via video, phone or email.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and an Associate Counsellor for MIND. I have undertaken additional training to work safely and effectively online.
I can help with issues relating to anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-worth, self-sabotaging behaviours and life and career transitions (redundancy, loss, parenting).
I offer a free 15 minute confidential consultation, if following that you would like us to work together, I charge £55 for a 50 minute session.
There is hope, things can change and counselling does help. Please reach out to me if you would like an informal chat to explore whether I might be the right counsellor for you.
I work online or face to face.
