About me and my therapy practice

I am registered with BACP as an accredited counselor and psychotherapist.  This means that you can be sure I have had extensive training and that I subscribe to their Ethical Codes of Practice. My work is confidential and no one will be told you have contacted me. You can expect to experience a sensitive, empathic and confidential relationship and feel safe to explore those things that concern you. I have over 20 years  experience as a professional psychotherapist. I provide an initial appointment to help discuss your concerns and to provide an opportunity to decide whether counselling will help you. In addition to working in the areas already described (in the section detailing my professional experience) I have been working extensively with those suffering from depression who are experiencing loss of purpose and direction in their retirement years - leading towards a happier and rewarding life in the present.

Addictions, Eating disorders, Obsessions, OCD, Phobias, Self-harm, Abuse, Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, Loss, Post-traumatic stress, Trauma, Service veterans, Cancer, Health related issues, Adoption issues, Child related issues, Infertility, Pregnancy related issues, Relationships, Sex-related issues, Anger management, Redundancy, Stress, Work related issues
