Availability

I currently have availability for seeing clients some evenings, Fridays and some Saturdays. I can offer therapy via phone and online as well as in-person.

About me and my therapy practice

The basis of my work is the creation of a trusting relationship, through listening to the whole person. I use an integrative approach drawing on many years experience of working therapeutically with children, young people and adults. I enjoy helping clients through the use of creative materials (writing, art and storytelling).

I have gained many years experience in working in a variety of settings with issues around abuse, trauma, bereavement, loss, mental health, spirituality and faith based difficulties.

I have experience of managing a counselling service, including counselling in schools and I am a counselling supervisor.

Practice description

My sessions and approach are tailored to the needs of the clients. This is discussed at the initial appointment. Appointments normally take place weekly for 1hour.

My first session

During the first session I offer an opportunity for clients to tell their story and to hear about how I work. Together we can decide whether further sessions may be helpful.

I do not charge for the first session.
