About me and my therapy practice
You may be coming to therapy with feelings of anxiety or depression; having experienced cultural issues or a relationship breakdown. You may be experiencing low self esteem. My aim is to support you in exploring your feelings, help you increase your own understanding, and take steps to overcome the issues that are affecting you.
I follow an LGBTQ+ affirmative approach, and have extensive experience of working with young adults and adults of different cultures and backgrounds, both of which make my practice sensitive to issues that may arise due to feelings of difference and otherness.

I believe that we are in relationship with others from the moment we are born, and interactions with others form who we become later in life. Sometimes relationships deteriorate or break down and we can be left with questions about our role in the world.
Working therapeutically can increase our awareness of where we see ourselves in relation to others and of what steps we can take to break patterns of behaviour that may have become hurtful.
I offer weekly 50-minute sessions. Sessions will take place on the same day and at the same time every week so it is essential that you are able to take this time away from distractions and that you find a comfortable, confidential space to speak from.
