About me and my therapy practice

I trained as a Person-Centred Counsellor and I am currently working in Private Practice. Previously, I worked at a Rape Crisis Centre for 5 years as a volunteer/employee, supporting male and female survivors who have experienced Historic Child Abuse and Sexual Violence. I gained a vast amount of skills and knowledge working at the centre; as well as understanding the ripple effect that this traumatic event has had, not only on the survivors, the families too. I am also currently volunteering at Mind and work with Anxiety, Depression, Loss, Bereavement, Self-harming and many other mental health issues. Taking the first step to seek counselling might feel scary, however, this is a positive move forward and will change how you feel about yourself and relate to others. It would be a privilege to work with you in a non-directive way and walk alongside you through this challenging time of your life.
