About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified experienced registered Psychodynamic Psychotherapist working with people facing a wide range of issues.
Seeking help can feel daunting. I offer a private safe space, where you can bring what's troubling you without judgement. I will listen carefully to you and we will work collaboratively on understanding and working through uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, and behaviour, as the basis for developing inner resilience to face life's challenges.
In addition to private practice, I have provided psychotherapy in The NHS working with people who have experienced childhood, emotional and sexual abuse, and I have provided counselling for a bereavement charity.
I have some places available for people unable to pay the standard fee. Please contact me for the current availability. My minimum fee is £45.00
Practice description
I offer open-ended, once-weekly 50 minute psychotherapy sessions (twice weekly under some circumstances).
We would work in depth on the issues which are troubling you. Sessions remain available for as long as they are useful. The ending is kept under review on an ongoing basis.
I offer time-limited psychotherapy (typically 12-18 sessions) where you and I would focus on one issue that you are having difficulty with.
My first session
The Initial consultation is an opportunity for us to meet each other, and for you to find out about how I work, ask me any questions, and for us to decide if we could work together.
You would need to allow up to 90 minutes for this first session.
Sessions are currently via Zoom and by telephone, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and will resume in person when we are able to do so, in accordance with government guidelines.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified, experienced, registered psychotherapist working with a diverse group of people facing a broad range of emotional difficulties.
One in four people experience emotional distress at some point in their lives. Seeking help can feel daunting. My four year postgraduate clinical training at WPF Therapy required all therapists to be in psychoanalytic therapy and so experience the therapeutic relationship and process whilst working in a busy London clinic.
I provide a safe private space. I listen to you carefully, and we seek to understand and work through troubling uncomfortable thoughts, feelings and, behaviours as the basis for building inner resilience to be able to face life's challenges.
