About me and my therapy practice
I am able to help with and have worked with clients to address anxiety, generalised anxiety disorder, Covid-19 anxiety, depression, low mood, domestic violence, relationship loss, bereavement, long term health conditions, and adjusting to difficult life events. I offer a free 1/2 hour initial consultation so please call or email me and we can discuss how I can help.
I have extensive experience of working in the public and 3rd sector supporting individuals with a wide range of issues. I am qualified to master’s level in counselling and work in a person-centered way which holds the client and their process at the centre of therapy to facilitate self-awareness and personal growth.
Practice description
I aim to offer a space for you talk and really be heard and accepted. To do this I embody empathy, unconditional positive regard and congruence to create a safe, non-judgemental therapeutic environment for you to explore what issues are impacting you currently. I aim to help you gain awareness of emotional issues to effect change, growth and release from difficult emotions. I am also able to work integratively and share specific techniques which can help to regulate and manage emotions.
