About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP registered experienced Counsellor and I currently offer online therapy via Zoom. All of my clients say that I'm very calm and easy to talk to. Maybe you’re experiencing stress, anxiety or depression, in your personal or work life, have low self-esteem and self-confidence, have had a bereavement or loss, or be experiencing difficulties in a relationship. Perhaps your current situation seems impossible to change or you might want to understand events that happened in your past or present.
I’ll work with you to identify the main issues you have, help you clarify your thoughts and feelings and help you identify what changes you wish to make.
Sometimes counselling can seem scary, but taking the first step and investing in yourself will make a huge difference to your life and the people around you. I’m here to listen and I’m in your corner, so if you feel ready, please contact me to arrange your first session.
I work as an Integrative Counsellor which means I use a combination of approaches: Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Psycho-dynamic and Mindfulness. Everybody is individual so I will use the best modality suited to the needs of my client.
I work from a Private Practice situated on Canvey Island, Essex and I also work from offices in Westcliff-on-Sea.
I have appointments to fit your working needs. My hours are flexible and I work to 9pm a few days a week.
I help people with a range of difficulties, but I excel in working with anxiety, stress, depression, loss, difficult relationships and working with people who are carers.
My first session
The first appointment will be an assessment and will enable me to determine whether I’ll be able to help you and allow you to decide if you’d like to work with me.
There is no obligation, but if you’d like to progress there will be an opportunity for you to talk and share your concerns.
The sessions belong to you and I’m here to listen. I’ll work with you to identify the main issues you have, help you clarify your thoughts and feelings and help you identify what changes you wish to make.
Sometimes it’s hard to speak to family and friends as you don’t want to feel like a burden….. I’m here to listen and offer you a safe, non judgemental space to talk about your issues.
