About me and my therapy practice
Now that you are exploring this site you might be considering if and how counselling can help you. Research informs us that it does. By allowing yourself a safe place where someone carefully listens and supports you; you can feel heard, safe and understood. I work with clients on a wide range of issues including: anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, domestic abuse, anger management, loss and bereavement, trauma, abuse, self-confidence, addiction and substance abuse recovery as well as life and professional transitioning.
I have a friendly and relaxed way of working; a confidential place where you can experience being valued and validated. I help you to explore and make sense of your thoughts, feelings and experiences. As well as supporting you with difficult decisions, I also help you to develop a more compassionate and coherent relationship with yourself and others.
My approach is based on the philosophy that we are moulded by our unique make up and life experiences; I work carefully to adapt my approach to your individual needs.
