About me and my therapy practice
I am a trained practitioner of Person Centred Counselling. My experience has focused on working with adults with mental health issues e.g. anxiety, depression, stress, health and relationship issues in the Primary Care setting (GP practice in Fife). In addition, I have worked for a mental health association counselling young people and have a breadth of experience counselling people who have experienced bereavement and loss. Supporting them to explore their loss and make sense of their grief.
As well as my counselling work, I am a nurse with over thirty years’ experience, where I have specialised in supporting people affected by cancer. Working closely with individuals to navigate their way through the physical and psychological impact of a cancer diagnosis and treatments.
I currently work as a nurse for a cancer organisation as well as managing a private counselling practice.
I work with young people 12 years and over and adults.I offer clients the opportunity of short and long term work depending on their individual needs.
