About me and my therapy practice
My approach to counselling looks at both present issues and preoccupations and also troubling past experiences. These may or may not be related but in either case, can leave us feeling stuck, powerless, anxious or depressed. Together, we could look at what is troubling you and explore where it began and what you would like to change. If you are not sure exactly what is wrong but are aware that something doesn't feel right, we can work on what may underlie your feelings surrounding your sense of self, your relationships and beliefs, where through connections we make, change becomes possible. We could also work on more immediate issues relating to anger, relationship or family problems, loss and grief, trauma, identity and body image concerns, anxiety and depression. I aim to provide a discreet and confidential environment where you are free to express and evaluate your needs in an open and non judgemental situation where we can work together to find the way forwards.
