About me and my therapy practice
I work in a psychodynamic way. This involves looking at your relationship with your feelings, and how this affects your relationships with other people. I aim to create a safe and welcoming environment for you to express what is troubling you, and for us to try and understand your difficulties and the obstacles which are in your way. In a counselling session you are free to talk about anything you choose. It can be day to day concerns, fears, memories, feelings, dilemmas, deeper concerns, dreams, patterns of behaviour and so on.
In the Covid-19 crisis I am seeing clients online or on the phone.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a psychodynamic counsellor at University College London. I have previously worked as counsellor at One in Four, a charity which helps adult survivors of child sexual abuse, at a Further Education college (with both adults and teenagers) and in the NHS.
Away from counselling, I have worked with homeless individuals, people with severe mental health issues and people with learning difficulties. My academic background is in European Social and Political Studies at University College London.
I see private clients at the Gestalt Centre, close to Kings Cross St Pancras rail station (note: I am not a gestalt practitioner).
