About me and my therapy practice
You may be feeling anxious, depressed, having relationship issues or may be confused as to how you are feeling. It may be you are just tired of pretending everything is okay and want to feel better. You may have tried talking to friends or family and found this hasn't helped. At times like these, seeing a counsellor or psychotherapist can help you unburden yourself in a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space.
As a person-centered therapist I will strive to be deeply understanding, accepting and genuine. Providing a safe environment in which I will listen carefully to you, offer you unconditional support, value your experience and use that as a basis of all our work. My aim is to establish a warm, mutually respectful working relationship between us allowing us to explore together what brought you to therapy and anything else arising during our time together, accepting you wherever you may be. This gives the potential for a healing experience that will increase awareness and understanding, while at the same time empowering you to make healthy choices.
How can counselling help you
Everyone can gain a lot from discovering more about themselves through counselling and psychotherapy. Having the chance to explore patterns of feelings, behaviours, those experiences and memories which impact on you and your relationships, can be transforming.
