About me and my therapy practice

INTEGRATED THERAPEUTIC COACHING AND COUNSELLING

Achieve your desired outcomes, by having a supportive Accredited Counsellor with over 12 years’ experience, as you identify and remove the blocks to your issues.

I can offer you integrated Counselling and Therapeutic Coaching in one transformational pathway using skills and experience gained over many years in a variety of settings including as a counsellor in GP surgeries, charities and NHS IAPT services.

During this time I have continued with my professional development in EMDR, Multi-brain Integration Coaching (mBIT), Hypnotherapy, and Tapping Therapy (TFT).

These are all powerful psychological tools which I now use alongside my experience to help others heal. I have also worked for charities supporting older people and people with disabilities.

How I work:

My specialist interest is in integrating counselling and therapeutic coaching into one transformational pathway:

Releasing procrastination and fear, building confidence, wellbeing and self-awareness, and relaxation techniques to balance the Autonomic Nervous System.

During and after Covid it became apparent that I and many others appreciated the role of nature in their daily routine and recovery, and to alleviate their anxiety. This is the reason I choose to encourage creativity and connecting with nature when helping others.

Who I work with:

I help people overcome issues that they feel stuck with:

Using counselling skills, therapeutic coaching and EMDR I can support you to make the changes you want.

Practice description

Choices:

I offer a flexible pathway that supports you where you are with your life issues.

Co-creating the therapeutic pathway:

Both coaching and counselling are a process of self-discovery. The focus of counselling being how our present is affected by the past, and the focus of therapeutic coaching being personal development and actively moving forward.

It is important to recognise that counselling and coaching relationships are both co-creative, learning relationships and our sessions will be focused on how you want to work.

This may be coaching, counselling or an integrated approach.

There is an option to integrate creative activities.

I work on-line via zoom and in person.

Fees:

Weekly sessions: from £55

Discounts available for therapeutic packages. Please contact me for details.

My first session

Next steps:

A brief conversation is the best start to your therapy experience.

I offer a free 15 minute discovery call either on Zoom or telephone to discuss how we might work together. I can talk with you about how I work and you can me ask questions about this. We can then decide if we are good match to move forwards.

The therapeutic relationship is so key to success and it is important that you get a sense of whether you would like to work with me and equally that I feel that I will be able to offer you help that makes a positive difference for you.

First Session:

Our first session will be a full assessment of your current situation and how . This may be between 60 and 90 minutes in length depending on best practice for your chosen way of working.

Together we can create the right package for you to effect the meaningful change you are looking for.
