About me and my therapy practice
BACP Senior Accredited practitioner therapist and supervisor, with over thirty years experience. In these exceptional times I'm mainly working online via Skype, Zoom, Facetime or telephone.
I try to match my approach to the needs of the client. I may offer simple self-help strategies to help deal with different issues such as anxiety, negative thinking. If you want to get a sense of me, you can watch my video which I recorded at the start of lockdown, offering a simple strategy for releasing stressful emotions.

If you are open to working with interventions such as visualisation it can be an effective way to gain deeper insight and change, using inner dialogue and imagery.
As a transpersonally trained therapist I am happy to work with people's different beliefs and spiritual experiences.
Apart from private practice, I have in the past run counselling training, supervision groups and other therapeutic courses. I've worked in a range of situations: GP practices (offering short term counselling), addiction recovery treatment centres, NHS oncology unit, hospice staff and in the private sector.
