About me and my therapy practice
From personal experience I know something of how huge the step coming to counselling can be, and how important it is to find someone you feel able to trust and be comfortable with. Counselling is a time for you, to be listened to and be heard, when what is said will remain confidential and is provided in a setting that will offer you a safe space.
Talking is hard and there are many reasons why we sometimes feel as though we can't talk to others about what is troubling us, such as we believe there are people whose problems seem worse than ours, or we may not feel as though we've been heard, especially when others talk over us. Well, I will neither think like that or do that.
Clients come to me with a wide range of emotional needs such as anxiety, depression and bereavement & loss among other issues and if you choose to approach me I will strive to offer you counselling which enables personal growth, empowering you to become secure in your self and promotes positive mental wellbeing.
I am a Person Centred counsellor with experience in helping individuals to navigate their sensitive thoughts and feelings.
I offer a safe space for you to talk freely about anything without fear of judgement and our sessions can be short or long term engagements.
Your wellbeing will be my sole focus and will lead the direction of our work together.

My first session
Initially we start with a 45 minute assessment session which will involve some paperwork, a general overview of what your current problem is, why you have chosen counselling now and a talk about my approach and if we mutually agree it would be helpful.
An Assessment Session is £30.00
Each subsequent weekly 50 minute counselling session is £45.00
