About me and my therapy practice

Hey there! I'm an integrative counsellor offering online therapy sessions for young people and adults. I understand that finding the right therapist can be a daunting task. Things can get better. I’m here to help you.

In my work, I support people with anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, low self-esteem and confidence, family issues, grief and loss, stress, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.

I offer a free, initial session. Therapy sessions can take place on the phone or online, providing you with confidential time to explore any feelings and thoughts you may have in the comfort of your own home.

You can overcome past hurt, prioritize your happiness and live life on your own terms. My counselling practice provides people with the tools to feel more secure and to build their ideal lives. It serves those who seek professional guidance on how to move from surviving to thriving.

Whatever brings you to counselling, you can expect our sessions to be approachable and warm. My aim is to help you work toward your goals from a perspective of empathy, honesty, compassion, and acceptance.

My Experience

Since 2017 I have worked and studied in mental health field in Germany and the UK. I am fluent in German and English, DBS-checked and fully insured. Before moving to private practice, I provided counselling in a GP surgery and as an EAP counsellor. I have experience working with a variety of clients and receive appropriate clinical supervision for all practice. My approach is dynamic, informal and relaxed, working at your pace.

Practice description

How counselling can help

At some point in our lives, we may feel stuck or face certain challenges. Counselling is an opportunity to look at your problems in a different way and to talk openly and in confidence to a trained therapist. I believe that everyone is worthy and capable, sometimes we just need the right guidance to know how to create the kind of life we want.

It can be hugely rewarding to begin working through your worries and to talk about your experiences in therapy. I work side-by-side with you and together we'll help you move forward in a way that feels meaningful to you. My primary role is to understand what you are going through and helping you to cope or create positive changes.

Our emotions form the core of who we are – understanding them improves the quality of our lives. Counselling offers a safe space to talk, to express feelings and to explore change.

My approach to therapy is integrative and tends to allign with the person-centred, existential, transactional and interpersonal approaches and depends on each client’s unique needs. Having compassion for ourselves and others allows us to take ownership of our stories, gives us agency to act, and helps us to create and maintain meaningful relationships.

When there is a problem, there is usually a solution, and together we will find a better way to live. We can work together to help you identify any obstacles and outdated beliefs that are holding you back.

By gaining more self-awareness, confidence and compassion, you can improve the relationship with yourself and others, and create more choice and freedom in how you live your life.

You can move towards the life that you want and find greater sense of peace in the day-to-day.

My first session

It is understandable to be nervous about what the first session might be like. I will try my best to put you at ease.

At the beginning of the session, we can talk through the counselling contract together. I will try to get to know you better and look to understand from you what has brought you to counselling and what you might like to gain from the process.

There will also be time and space for you to begin to tell me your story in whatever way you wish. At the end of our time, I will try to ensure you are grounded before you leave the session.

If we decide to continue working together we will look to arrange future sessions at this point. I would be honoured to join you on your journey.
