About me and my therapy practice
During these particularly difficult times, I am working by phone and by video links. Please contact me for more information.I am close to Golders Green tube, buses and free parking. We all experience difficulties in our lives and mostly we manage to deal with them. However, sometimes we struggle to cope on our own, yet feel unable to share our problem with family or friends. Major events, such as the end of a relationship, loss of a job or death of someone close, can undermine normal coping mechanisms and the ability to come to terms with pain or anger or other emotions aroused in us. Or you may feel unhappy about your job, relationships, sexuality or self-esteem. I offer a confidential, professional, non-judgemental setting in which we can talk about anything that is troubling you. Together, we can try to make sense of your thoughts and feelings, and help you find a way forward. Talking about the things that concern you may not always be easy and, at times, it may be painful. Even taking the first step to contact a counsellor may feel difficult. It is therefore important that you proceed at your own pace and go only as far as you want. So you decide what to talk about each time we meet. I am here to offer my experience and skills, for you to use in the way that helps you most. I do not provide solutions, but will help you to find your own. I offer a safe space where individuals and couples can begin to express their needs, and feel heard.

About me and my therapy practice
I am close to Golders Green tube, buses and free parking. My aim as a supervisor is:
- To provide a space where you can reflect on your work with clients, explore your response to them, identify any blind spots or issues relating to transference, counter transference and parallel process, and decide the most appropriate way to support them.
- To help you gain greater insight; explore a range of interventions; and integrate into your own way of working those ideas you think may be most useful to your client.
- To help you develop and extend your own personal style. I do not expect you to work in the same way that I work but to help us both understand why you choose one action over another I may ask you to explain why you acted in a particular way
- To offer a supervisory experience that you find interesting, stimulating, constructively challenging, and hopefully enjoyable.
- Above all, to support you in your work. We all experience highs and lows in our work, and moments of self-doubt. I hope this will be a space where we can acknowledge these, see the occasional humorous side of our work, and celebrate the successes.
