About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative therapist, warm, kind and easy to talk to. I aim to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where we can explore any struggles you may be experiencing so that you can live with a greater sense of well being and self-confidence. I use a number of different approaches in my work, selecting the most effective for each individual's specific needs, creating your own unique experience.
I can offer help in many areas, but I have a particular interest and experience in working with disordered eating, particularly binge eating disorder. One to one therapy is an opportunity for us to work together to uncover what is driving your binge eating. I am sensitive, respectful and non judgemental and work at a pace which you are comfortable with. We can look at your difficulties around eating and help address the cause and look at forming a new relationship with food and your body image.
I work Relationally, which means that I consider the relationship between us to be a key part of the therapy; and from an embodied position, which means I work with the whole person - mind, body and spirit. This enables me to work flexibly and holistically and to adapt my approach to meet different individual's needs as necessary.
Practice description
I am based in north London, and I'm currently offering face to face sessions in Covid-secure rooms in N12.
Your sessions will take place in a sunny, airy, contemporary room. There is plenty of parking nearby, and it is easily accessible by public transport.
My first session
Our first session is an opportunity to see if we connect, and discuss how we will work together. During this 50 minute session, we will look at the circumstances that bring you to therapy and your expectations. I will ask you some questions about your current situation and past, and we can get a sense if the relationship feels right and you feel comfortable.
