About me and my therapy practice
If life is difficult and you’re looking for a safe and welcoming space to talk about your difficulties, you’ve come to the right place.
I practice Person-Centred Counselling, which means that I offer you a safe space where we can explore your feelings and whatever you’ve got going on at this point in your life. This is a non-directive approach, which means that you have the autonomy to decide what we discuss in our sessions; and I will be by your side to support you, in an empathic, non-judgemental way. I believe that people have their own internal resources to control their own life, yet at times, life can feel unmanageable, and people need support to feel empowered and feel better about themselves.
I have experience supporting both young people and adults, with all manner of difficulties. I have volunteered and worked in numerous counselling roles in the charity sector and have extensive experience working with bereaved clients, as well as living losses.
I offer in-person counselling in M6, Salford, as well as online or telephone counselling; whatever you feel will work best for you – you are at the heart of everything I do.
Sessions will last for 50 minutes at a time to suit us both. I deliver both short-term and long-term counselling support.
If you are interested or would like any further information, please feel free to email or call me.
My first session
As everybody is unique, I offer a free 30-minute consultation, for you to decide whether person-centred counselling is the right approach for you. It will also give us the time to discuss your needs, and for you to ask any questions about how I work and the service I provide. I will collect some relevant details about you.
