About me and my therapy practice

Welcome.

How can I help you ? I am passionate about supporting every individual to discover what is bothering them and what they want to change. I find it takes courage to try this first step. Counselling can unlock change and a new life choices for you.

Let’s start and continue with you. How are you in yourself ? Are you unexpectedly unsure about a situation or your purpose in life, stressed, tired, angry, sleepless, numb, anxious, can't say no to others or in a low mood, want to explore your gender identity or role in relationships? Had a bereavement, unresolved arguments, long term health diagnosis?

The confidential emotional space allows exploration of yourself with no judgement , being deeply seen and heard by me with respect and human dignity.

As Jung suggests become ‘Enlightened..by making the darkness conscious’

Message me and I we can have an initial chat on the telephone, about what you want without commitment.

Practice description

All sessions that not local are via telephone or Zoom. I call you via telephone. These are one hour sessions, once a week or fortnight at the same time each week.

Locally sessions are in person including in your own home or walk and talk outside.

Your experience in sessions with me.

With over 600 hours my clients say I create a trusting connection quickly, offering a safe emotional space where we both journey in a bond into difficult feelings and reactions. As a person-centred therapist I trust your self-knowledge which develops through 'this' unspoken in you' that 'becomes the 'heard' in me'  with encouragement not to judge yourself.

My MSc and other training supports your understanding or relationships, hidden feelings and reactions that are related to your past or present. I am qualified with a BACP Registered membership and BACP recognised course at Level 4, am about to have my Master’s confirmed this year Level 7, as well as working towards BACP Accreditation completion of paperwork. Certificate in Bereavement (CRUSE). Certificate in Working with Trauma. CPD Certificates in Creative Counselling and Childhood Abuse. Modalities used are Person-Centred, Gestalt, Inner-Child, Psychodynamic, Relational Integrative, Transactional, Jungian internal gender self.
