About me and my therapy practice
Counselling can be of great help during times of upset but also when we feel stuck with a particular problem. Engaging in talking therapy can help you gain valuable insight into yourself and the situations you find yourself in. Counselling creates a safe, holding space for you to access your inner resources and bring forth your potential.
My aim is to offer you a space where you can express yourself without worrying about being judged or criticised. I will work with you to facilitate your growth and development, to assist you in finding the best ways that suit you in dealing with the difficulties in life.
I am an Integrative Counsellor, in this school of thought the therapist is trained to work with more than one approach and thus tailoring techniques and knowledge to the individual needs of the client.
My counselling experience alongside with my work in Mental Health spans over 10 years and covers a wide range of issues such as anxiety and depression, anger management, relationship and work related problems, low self-esteem and assertiveness.
