About me and my therapy practice

I offer a safe, supportive, confidential space in which you can speak freely and explore what is happening for you without being judged. My aim is that within the counselling relationship you will experience empathy, openness and acceptance which can help you discover the strengths and inner resources you need to manage life’s difficulties and challenges.

My counselling practice provides a comfortable, private space based in the south side of Glasgow. It is conveniently situated for public transport and offers on-site parking.

I have a wide range of experience including working in Medical Centres, GP Practices, a Holistic Health Centre, an Employee Assistance Programme and as a bereavement counsellor with Cruse Bereavement. I have been a hospice counsellor for 6 years supporting families, children and young people, carers and patients.

My current work is with a charitable organisation which supports people who have experienced sexual abuse and rape. I am also a certified supervisor.

As a qualified yoga teacher, I am interested in how yoga can have beneficial effects upon the mind, body and breath and am currently doing further study focusing on yoga therapy.

Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling

CSTD Certificate in Supervision

Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Education

Fees:

Individual session £50 for 1 hour (concessionary rates negotiable)

Supervision session £45 for 1 hour

Couple session £65 for 1 hour

Students £35 for 1 hour
