About me and my therapy practice

I believe each of us has the power to live the life we were meant to.

We all go through times in our lives that are challenging and distressing, and which can leave us feeling helpless and overwhelmed.

As a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor, I offer a safe, non-judgemental, confidential space for people seeking clarity and transformation, wherever they are in their lives.

I support clients from all backgrounds and circumstances one to one, currently only online.

Developing a bespoke therapeutic relationship with each client, I help them explore what is standing in their way, discover insights and coping skills, and begin to bring about the life changes they crave. Seeking counselling can be daunting, but the rewards can be life-changing.

Practice description

I understand how hard it can be to seek support for invisible, intangible inner distress. Perhaps you’re endlessly browsing self-help books online. Perhaps you’re drinking more than you know you should, or using substances to get by. Trained, one-to-one support, in a safe, confidential space separate from the pressures of your daily life, could be what you need.

In me you will find an empathetic ear for your concerns, a true mirror allowing you to see how beliefs, behaviours and patterns born of past experiences limit you, a sounding board for ideas on how to change course, and a loyal, honest support as you begin to do so.

My first session

In our first session, our conversation will allow me to gain a clear understanding of your situation, why you’re seeking support, and results you want to achieve. I’ll also set out how counselling works, explain the ethics that ensure complete client confidentiality and answer any questions you may have. Together we will create a plan, tailored to your specific aspirations and needs.

One of the many things about transactional analysis that make it appealing to many clients is that it can be tailored to be short-term or longer, depending on the client’s ambitions for their counselling. Another is the simple, accessible language it uses to explore how problems clients are facing have come to be, and how they might begin to resolve them.
