My available hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 9.30am and 5.00pm.

About me and my therapy practice

I provide a confidential, non-judgemental environment for individuals who want to explore issues that are troubling them. I believe it's good to talk and that therapy helps clients to find their own solutions to improve their well-being.


Many people are currently more concerned about their mental health and anxiety levels have risen, partly due to Covid, financial pressures and uncertainties about the future. Talking these things through with a therapist can help to alleviate anxiety and assist people to find manageable ways forward.


 




Practice description

I work from my home in a safe, confidential space. There is access to toilet facilities.

There are 2 car parking spaces available.

The town is adequately served by public transport.

My first session

My first session includes an assessment to ascertain basic contact details, GP information, any relevant medical details including referrals to mental health services, information regarding alcohol or drug use, and whether the client has had therapy before.

The rest of the session involves discovering what the client's presenting issues are and discussing a way forward if the client feels comfortable to work with me.
