About me and my therapy practice
I am licensed in the UK with 20 years of professional work experience in mental health and wellbeing.
I have worked as a therapist, coach, mental health and wellbeing consultant , trainer and yoga and meditation teacher . I am open to exploring all things spiritual .
I have experience in helping clients with stress, life stage changes, transitions, relationship issues, motivation, self esteem, confidence, depression, & coping with life changes.
I have worked with many woman who have been at different life stages looking to explore how they can increase their wellbeing and happiness (after children have grown ,a divorce, separation or work change) in particular woman who have been on DA and toxic relationships .
I am trained as a person centred , solution focused (short term) therapist/coach , yoga and meditation teacher and believe that you are the expert of your story and have the power within to heal and transform your life.
That you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. I help clients, not only explore their challenges but also their strengths, and goals .Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage .
I work online via zoom part time hours . I have a few slots in the morning afternoon and evening . I will respond to an email within 48 hours unless on leave . Please email me if you would like an initial consultation to explore what you are looking for and how we can work together .
My first session
I offer an initial consultation to get to know you and explore what brought you to therapy, what you might be looking for and what has helped you so far . We will also look at what other steps you could take.
Often I would use the solution focused approach and in the first 3 sessions to explore where you are at, and some tools that could help you and to also see if we are the right fit.
Some people only need a few sessions to get them moving forward and for others they need a bit longer.
I can work between 6-12 sessions then explore If you feel you would like further sessions
I am trained as a yoga and meditation teacher, NLP practitioner and coach therefore can utilise a range of processes to help you along your journey
*please note I dont work with clients who are under secondary adult mental health and on medication for a diagnosed mental health condition (by a psychiatrist)*
