About me and my therapy practice
The lack of confidence, the low self-esteem, the anxiety, the stress, the pressure from others, the expectations placed on your shoulders, the bullying, the relationship problems - do you often ask yourself, when will it get better, when will I feel better?
As a young woman in her 20's I'm with you in the struggle of trying to get comfortable with who you are now, while thinking about who you want to become, and the stress of working out how to get from point A to point B. But you don't have to go through it alone, you don't have to keep your thoughts and feelings bottled up, you don't have to suffer in silence.
Together we can explore your emotions, your thoughts about yourself and about others, your goals, your values, whatever it is that you need to work through. Life should be more than surviving, it should be about thriving. There should be enjoyment and there should be fun, it shouldn't all be dark and grey.
Making the decision to start counselling is scary, picking a counsellor can be even scarier. This can be a very overwhelming process and I applaud you for getting this far. If you make the decision to work with me you will get a relaxed environment to explore the topics that you choose to bring. I will show you respect, understanding, and patience, to allow you the time and the space to speak freely and openly. I won't tell you what to do, ever, but what I will do is work with you to explore what is preventing your personal growth.
I have four years experience primarily working with low self-esteem and low confidence in young women. I also have experience with anxiety, stress, grief, loss, relationship problems, childhood bullying, and family issues among other things.
Who do I work with?
Primarily, younger people. Late teens, 20's, some people in their 30's.
But really the answer is anyone and everyone over the age of 18.
Ethnicity, religion, sexuality, cultural background isn't something that influences who I work with.
What do I offer?
A relaxed environment to explore the topics that you choose to bring.
Respect, understanding and patience, to allow you the time and the space to speak freely and openly.
An understanding of how hard it is to be a young person right now.
What will I do?
Work alongside you to help further your understanding of who you are and what you are going through. To make life less about just surviving and more about thriving.
How long are sessions and how much do they cost?
Sessions are 50mins to 1hour. The amount of sessions is something we can discuss but primarily is your decision.
One session costs £40. This is payable through bank transfer or Paypal.
I offer a reduced fee for students.

My first sessionSessions are 50mins-1hour.
The first session I offer is a free, 20minute call to provide you with the space to ask any questions and for us to go over the counselling agreement. From there you can decide if I'm the right counsellor for you.
You have the choice of having sessions over the phone or via video call. The platforms I use for video calls are WhatsApp and Zoom.
