About me and my therapy practice
I am a warm, experienced UKCP accredited psychotherapist and a BACP registered counsellor located in Teddington and Hampton Hill offering a private psychotherapy and counselling service during the week. I offer a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space where you can express and explore whatever is going on in your life. I am experienced in working with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, bereavement and relationship issues.

Face-to-face and Remote Sessions
These have been challenging times and I recognise that clients need more support than ever and so I offer both face-to face and remote sessions depending on your needs.
If you are interested in either face-to-face therapy sessions or remote therapy sessions, I would suggest a short chat about your needs would be a great place to start. This will also give me an opportunity to answer any questions or concerns you may have about talking therapy. There is no fee for this initial chat or obligation to proceed further. Please note, you must reside in the UK.
Who do I work with?
I work with adults on a one to one basis for either long term psychotherapy or short term counselling depending on your needs. This is also sometimes called talking therapy.
Transactional Analysis Trainees and Humanistic Trainees
I currently have availability for both TA students and Humanistic students. If you are seeking a personal psychotherapist to support you through your training, then please contact me for more information about how we might work together. I work with one student per class only.
What can counselling and psychotherapy help with?
Counselling may help those who generally function well day to day but are experiencing difficulties in the present, which might be due to bereavement, a relationship break up or work related stress for example. Longer term psychotherapy may be more appropriate if you think your issues and anxieties are deeper or have been present for many years.
Counselling and psychotherapy; also known as talking therapy, can help with a number of issues that might cause you to feel anxious, depressed or generally stuck in life.
If you are unsure if counselling or psychotherapy can help you, simply arrange an initial chat with me to explore how you feel and if you think talking therapy might help. My theoretical approach is based on Relational Transactional Analysis.
My first session
I offer a free of charge chat on the phone initially, to establish if we can work together and explore what your needs might be. I also outline how I work.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I explain my terms of working together and ask some questions about you, which will help me gather information about your lifestyle, what you are experiencing that is worrying you and how this impacts you. I also ask take a history of your back story. I charge £45 for this session.
