About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced psychotherapist of some 20 years, with considerable experience in the private sector, the NHS and Employment Assistance Programmes.
I help people work through many forms of loss, trauma and crisis and work with a wide range of issues. I have a particular interest in working with disruptive attachment experienced during adolescence, and helping those suffering from the impact and legacy of absent fathers.
I work with people who are affected and challenged by adversity and have suffered significant life changes and challenges.
I provide a holistic and solution-based form of therapy using a blend of trauma-based sensitive mindfulness and psychotherapy to meet your individual needs.
There is constant navigation and complexity around identity and belonging. My aim is to help you discover and develop new ways which are less compromised by past patterns which have contributed to your distress and suffering in the present. And to help you achieve your goals in the counselling process together with real sustainable change.
I have a particular interest in, and experience of:
* Issues of difference: Belonging & Identity
* Bereavement & loss, and transgenerational trauma
* Absent fathers: the effects of abandonment
* Workplace Issues
