About me and my therapy practice

A new year can mean new beginnings and resolving issues in the past to allow you to move forwards.  Counselling can help with lots of different areas such as low self esteem, addictions and compulsions, repetitive patterns in relationships, dissatisfaction with work, difficulty concentrating and sleep issues. Counselling could be the most powerful decision you have allowed yourself to make. Imagine being in control of your life and making choices that work for you.

Everyone is different and not everyone responds to counselling in the same way so I will begin our work understanding carefully what you are struggling with and how you would like things to be and together, we will agree the best approach for you.

I will not pretend to know you better than you know yourself. I have not walked in your shoes so I need to understand what it is like to be you and what you need from counselling for you to have the best possible experience of therapy.I mainly work with trauma and violence and am continually reminded that even in the face of adversity, changes can happen.
