About me and my therapy practice
Offering face to face and online sessions.
I believe anyone can fulfil their potential and live a happier life, but sometimes things get in the way - life can feel hard, with many obstacles that at times can feel too difficult to tackle. I am a qualified counsellor with a background in mental health nursing. I aim to offer a safe, confidential, and accepting environment for you to be completely yourself, where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences to understand what may be underlying the challenges you have.
My approach is integrative rooted in existential and Gestalt therapies. These terms can seem quite daunting so please do ask more about what they mean and how they may work for you in a counselling setting. The most important thing is that they are tailored to you and what you find most enabling and energising.
My first session
We will initially spend time really exploring your day to day experiences, to see what feels most important and having the most impact on your wellbeing. We will then work creatively to create the right conditions and opportunities for you to tackle and overcome the things that are getting in the way of helping you to be the person you really want to be.
