About me and my therapy practice
Hello. I am a qualified therapist based in the West end of Glasgow, working in person and online. I want to help you work through anything which is difficult for you right now. Please email email@example.com to arrange an appointment.
I offer a free 20 minute initial consultation to see how we can work together and thereafter arrange sessions at a time that suits both of us. I offer concessions for low income on discussion of your circumstances.
Working with me will be a collaborative, structured process. Over time we will work together to help you arrive at a better understanding of yourself, your life and your relationships. These insights are life changing.
I have worked with a range of third sector organisations and charities as well as my private practice, including MacMillan Cancer Charity and Glasgow City Education Department.
I also teach yoga and am very interested in the mind body connection. Better mental health can lead to better physical health and vice versa.
My first session
After we have our initial free 20 minute discussion we will begin to explore what issues have brought you into therapy and importantly how you want to feel at the end of it.
I recognise that you are coming to therapy because you want something to change and don't want to feel as you currently do - so we use that as a starting point, and check in with that idea over the weeks or months that we work together.
Also, in that first session you might be a bit nervous or not know what to expect so you can ask me anything you want about what the process might be like and what my role in it is.
