About me and my therapy practice
I work with clients to raise awareness of cues from the body and mind to make sense of personal, often protective, patterns and responses in relationship to others and the world that have formed in life thus far.
I can support you to practise recognising, speaking and acting from your authentic self through experimentation and explore your unique strengths which every person has but are often unaware of or minimised.
The therapeutic relationship in Gestalt is important to build trust and work in a space where you feel safe to be curious and explore what happens for you in each moment, talking about your experiences. By raising your self-awareness and building capacity for vulnerability and openness, you naturally become enabled to make more conscious decisions which builds confidence and resilience.
I also enjoy working with elements of internal family systems modality (working with internal parts) and poly-vagal theory (engaging the healthy nervous system responses) as part of our work.
