About me and my therapy practice
During this difficult time of CV-19 I am only counselling clients online and not face to face.
Do you get dragged down with negative thought patterns or regularly make unhealthy choices? Are you broken & need help being put back together? Do you struggle with unresolved anger, grief, past & present relationship issues or unmanageable anxiety?
I will help you identify your current feelings and understand where they are deeply rooted. I can help you make sense of negative thought patterns, unhealthy choices and unhelpful patterns of behaviour.
If you feel that you are broken and need putting back together, I would really like to work with you in helping you feel whole.
You might not understand why you react in a curtain way in a particular situation, or what triggers your anger, I can help you to discover a new sense of freedom, security and self-worth.
I have over 7 years experience of working with people with DID and DD-NOS.
I am also offering post Covid therapy for those who are struggling to come to terms with diagnosis or recovery from the corona virus.
I use an integrative approach to counselling, mainly focusing on a Person Centred modality and using some creative tools. I work holistically with clients to discover what is stopping them moving forward, physically, emotionally, whether it is in relationships or personally. I believe that we all have the ability to heal from past hurts and traumas, I use a variety of tools to assist you on your journey of self development.
**Please note that I do not practice couples therapy at the moment**
I use Skype or Zoom to communicate with my clients.
My first session
I ask all new clients to commit to a minimum of 6 sessions to start with, we will then discuss if you would like to continue for longer term therapy.
I offer a brief 15 minute first session for us to have a brief chat about what you are hoping to achieve through the counselling process.
After this, if you would like to continue with therapy we can or we can arrange a more suitable time for your first session.
