About me and my therapy practice
I work with individuals from all walks of life, across all ages and diversities, which has given me the unenviable position to appreciate what people are going through. You may have reached a point where you feel tired of the way that you are living or how you are feeling. Your mental health is a jam jar, and when it is full up or overflowing, life feels too much. You may need help extending your 'jam jar' or taking some stuff out of it.
This sense of being 'full up' might show up in different ways: as burnout from personal or professional commitments; in relationship problems that are following a familiar pattern; or in being successful but feeling empty on the inside. Perhaps you find it hard to identify what you think and need and to say it. You might even be worried that you are teetering on the edge of something.
I help each individual feeling this way to experience less emotional distress and live better lives. I do this through helping them to understand and accept themselves, and to develop more helpful patterns of thinking, being and relating.
Besides a wealth of life experience, gained through my previous careers in business and charities, I can offer the benefits of having been a counsellor for over twenty three years. This enables me to tailor my work in a way to suit each individual and their issues.
