My hours of work are Monday, Tuesday,Thursday and Friday 9.30am - 2.30pm.
I offer face to face sessions in Manchester city centre, or over zoom or telephone.
The relationship between the client and counsellor is extremely important, I offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation where we can explore your hopes for the sessions and you can decide if I am the right counsellor for you.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Person-Centred counsellor and also use Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I tailor the modality to the client and use the approach which is best suited to the individual.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling Profession (MBACP).
Acknowledging that you need help and then reaching out for therapy can often be one of the hardest steps to take but using that courage and strength can change your life for the better. I provide a safe and non judgmental space where you can share your deepest emotions.
I work with clients in a collaborative way to encourage and empower the client.
My aim is to support, listen and be an impartial soundboard. Feeling heard can be powerful and can help you to process issues and allow you to move forward.
My first session
During the first session we will explore the reason for you reaching out for counselling and what you hope to achieve from the therapy.
You may want to manage your anxiety, low mood or simply talk. We can then discuss the modalities I use and discuss how the sessions can benefit you.
