About me and my therapy practice
If you’ve been thinking about therapy it might be that you feel anxious a lot of the time, you may experience low mood, it might be a relationship issue that’s bothering you, at home or at work. There may be a change that’s causing some difficulty, a change of role or status, a relationship breakdown or loss. Or there may be something, that you can’t quite name, that seems to be getting in your way. You may have a sense that some unresolved stuff from the past is playing out in the present. You may have worked out for yourself that something’s up or it may be someone else who has pointed you towards help.
My job is to listen deeply and to create the space in which you can discover what’s really going on. I’ll work with you in a joint exploration of where you are and who you are becoming… it’s a collaborative enquiry. I’ll help you join the dots, go deeper and express what needs to be expressed. Sometimes I’ll reflect back to you something you’ve said so that you can ponder it’s meaning a little longer. Sometimes I’ll notice how we’re relating in the moment and get curious about how this is happening. I’ll be the caring witness and, always, I’ll be present and validate your experience in a non-judgmental way. I believe in your wellness and will always support your very best self.
