About me and my therapy practice

I use an integrative counselling approach where I combine therapy approaches or vary the approach depending on your needs. Whilst the approach of therapy has importance, the most significant thing is that you feel comfortable in sessions. I strongly believe in what makes therapy effective is a good therapeutic relationship between a counsellor and client.

During sessions, you will have the space to voice your difficulties and to share your feelings. I will be there to listen to you, empathise with you and to provide support.

If you, your child or someone you know is going through some challenging times, I can provide you with a confidential, safe and non-judgmental space to share any worries you are having and to find ways of overcoming these challenges.

Text therapy- 1hr session- £18

Virtual/telephone 50 minute session- £25

Practice description

I am flexible in terms of how many sessions you would like. Therapy can be short term or long term. Sessions are confidential and they are a safe space for clients. You can share worries, thoughts and feelings without being judged. Therapy is a space for you to feel comfortable and empowered.

Before sessions start I offer a free 30 minute consultation this allows you the opportunity to get to know me and to see if I am right for you. It is also a chance for you to give an overview of your issues.

After the consultation, if you are happy, you will be given forms to fill out, policies to read and a contract to agree to. Once these have been returned and agreed too. We can begin with our first session.

All sessions are 50 minutes long. During the first session there will be a review of the confidentiality policy, a wellbeing assessment (this helps to establish therapeutic progress), you can ask any questions you may have and there will be a review/follow up from the consultation. There will be further exploration of the presenting issues and we can look into establishing your therapy goals.
