About me and my therapy practice
My focus is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which focuses on the impact our thoughts, emotions and behaviours have on our mental health. Quite often what we are thinking isn't as accurate as we initially thought which can lead to automatic reactions that may not be working for us. Together we can practise tools and techniques to help make the changes not only in the here and now but for the future.
I work one to one with you to help with issues such as anxiety (including generalised, health, social), depression, self esteem issues, bereavement, self harm and more.
We will work together in a supportive and collaborate way and usually with goal setting focusing on thought and behavioural change.
I have much experience working with young people ages 11 to 20 and offer a discount to students.
I offer a collaborative, non-judgmental environment where you are free to talk openly with support.
