About me and my therapy practice
Life's footprints leave impressions on the person we are. Sometimes it feels as if there is no one we can turn to when we experience difficulties in our life. I aim to accompany you on that journey offering a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space in which you can explore life's challenges. I have worked in both the voluntary and private sectors gaining valuable experience with people of all ages and backgrounds facing a wide range of issues. I offer counselling at Gilmourton, Nr Strathaven, East Kilbride and Kilmarnock. When making an enquiry can you please state at which location you would like to see me.
Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) - You can have the choice of a one to one session with myself or having my two therapy dogs in the counselling room with us. Their presence in the counselling room can help to relieve some of the tension and anxiety of therapy. AAT is only available at Gilmourton and East Kilbride.
Walk and Talk - Weather permitting at Gilmourton I offer the option of Walk and Talk Therapy. Some clients find talking outside more relaxing and less stressful. They find the combination of gentle exercise and walking side by side with their therapist in the countryside helps them to move forward both physically and mentally and if you want the dogs can come too.
More information can be found on my website.
