About me and my therapy practice
Do you just need someone talk to?
Is Covid-19 proving to be really difficult for you? Problems at home, problems at work, problems about your health or that of someone you care about?
Is it bringing up lots of issues for you?
As a senior and experienced psychotherapist , I can help you to explore your issues with anxiety ,depression, trauma, childhood issues, relationship issues, self esteem and confidence issues, loneliness and lack of purpose and meaning -as well as many other problems that make life difficult. I can help you find better ways of coping and help you find more fulfilment in life.
I work creatively and relationally and use a variety of approaches that will support and challenge you. My principle training is as a psychosynthesis psychotherapist , but have also trained in person-centred, various body therapies, gestalt, compassion-focussed CBT and some existential therapy. I have recently added to my portfolio by doing further study in creative writing for therapeutic purposes.
I work with both conscious and unconscious material, childhood patterns, what's happening now and the creative potential we hold for the future.
I am a trauma specialist and an EMDR practitioner registered with EMDR Association of UK and Ireland and I am accredited by UKCP. I am a trainer in Trauma and Addiction.
