About me and my therapy practice
I'm Ali, a Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I adopt a holistic and empathetic approach to my practice. My journey as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist has been shaped by my belief in the power of human resilience and the potential for positive change. I believe that we all try to do the best we can, and my therapeutic style is rooted in creating a non-judgmental and collaborative environment where we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and concerns at your own pace.
As an integrative therapist, I draw from a diverse range of therapeutic techniques, tailoring our sessions to your unique needs. Whether you're struggling with relationship issues, depression, anxiety or simply seeking personal development, my goal is to assist you in uncovering insights, developing coping strategies, and fostering a deeper connection with yourself. Together, through meaningful conversations, we will work towards enhancing your emotional well-being and empowering you to lead a more fulfilling life.
My first session
It’s important that you feel comfortable and able to speak freely with me. Therefore, I offer a free initial 30 minute session online to allow us to get to know each other.
Within this session we’ll explore what brings you to therapy, what you’d like to achieve from it, and you can ask any questions you may have. We’ll also discuss if we can work together, and whether you’d like to continue with further sessions. There would be no obligation to book any further sessions.
If you would like to continue, we would arrange weekly 50 minute sessions. I offer sessions online and in-person at my practice in Guildford.
