About me and my therapy practice
I believe supervision should be collaborative, non-judgmental and supportive, but with enough 'stretching' to enhance your professional development, and also act as a gate-keeper to uphold the standards of the profession.
We will explore casework with open curiosity about emerging themes, difficulties and process. We will pay attention to developmental, professional and ethical issues relevant to your practice, and co-create a robust learning environment with space to discuss theory and research.
My approach is integrative, drawing on a range of theories. More information can be found on my website.
Practice description
I provide clinical supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists, and other professionals who require support in their work, such as those in caring/ pastoral roles in schools, church leadership and the charitable sector.
I am qualified with a level 7 Diploma in Counselling Supervision. I also lead an online supervision group for couples' therapists.
I have a wide experience of common presenting issues, but my areas of specialism are as follows: relationships, couples, women's issues (menopause, miscarriage, fertility), and spiritual and existential issues of meaning, purpose and personal growth.
My first session
Finding the right supervisor is crucial to a flourishing counselling practice. For this reason I offer
a) a 20 minute phone call to discuss your supervisory requirements, and/ or
b) a free 50 minute 'taster' session, in which you can experience something of the way I work, and come to a considered decision.

Adults, Trainees
