About me and my therapy practice
Hi, my name is Eliza and I am looking forward to meeting you. I am a warm and caring person who is passionate about psychology and psychotherapy. As someone who had experienced a fair amount of trauma, I can really understand what it is like to feel helpless, hopeless and overwhelmed. From that understanding comes my empathy towards every person who suffers from emotional and/or physical pain. Hence, in our sessions I will support you in finding your own way to overcome the pain and create hope, optimism and belief in yourself.
In my practice I use humanistic and cognitive-behavioural approaches in order to help my clients move forward. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, anger, and depression. During our time together I will encourage you and help you to identify your strengths, and resources, your problem-solving abilities, your copying and emotion regulation skills and develop these further, so that you can become more resilient, calmer, more confident, more capable and more assertive self.
My first session
If you decide to go on a therapeutic journey with me, I will first of all listen to you, clarify my understanding of your problem and agree with you what we need to do in order for you to get the most out of our sessions.
