About me and my therapy practice
- Life has a habit of bringing dilemmas, difficulties and struggles within our path. It is just human to respond with hurt, shame, anxiety or by feeling lost, stuck and depressed.
Existential psychotherapy aims to help you create a more meaningful life, and better ways to relate to yourself and others, despite the complications life may throw at you.
Together we can find out how you can make more meaningful and willful decisions about how to live. My goal is to help you to transform and reinvent yourself; connect and discover yourself; heal, understand and accept yourself.
There is no one-size-fits-all model of therapy, as people grow, heal and change at a different pace. My base modality is existential and phenomenological. What does that mean? In short, it says that I like to base my work equally on psychological and psychotherapeutic theories as well as philosophy (with an emphasis on Continental Philosophy).
I prefer to work in a flexible, client-centred and integrative manner - drawing from different approaches and techniques, depending on your needs and your preferences.
It begins by learning who and how you are, and then collaboratively we can shape ways in which you can understand, change, grow, heal or evolve.
