About me and my therapy practice
People come to counselling for many reasons. Sometimes it is life stressors, sometimes it is experiences from our past, sometimes it can just feel that the world is falling down around us. Counselling is always here to support you and help you heal the wounds (old or new) that are causing pain.
Practice description
I create a safe place where you can bring your fears, worries, and vulnerabilities without any risk of judgement. It is a place where you can be completely yourself and know you will be accepted. The opportunities for growth that this brings are boundless, and allow for you to be able to reflect on what you are going through and to find your own way.
As a counsellor with a wealth of experience working with adults and teenagers I am committed to building safe, trusting, supportive relationships that can facilitate life-changing growth, insight and understanding. In a relationship like this we have the power to change how we perceive ourselves and the world around us.

About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced Person Centered Counsellor and Supervisor with vast clinical experience. I am primarily trained in person centered therapy, and I use the skills and knowledge I have acquired over the years to inform my supervision practice. I have extensive experience working with young people, in schools, working in private practice, and working in EAPs.
Practice description
For me, the foundation of supervision is an honest and collaborative relationship. Within this secure relationship you are invited to bring all aspects of your practice, and anything else that you feel is affecting your practice. For example, client issues, ethical concerns, are welcome, just as personal issues that impact your way of being as a practitioner are welcome too.
Supervision is a safe and empowering space and within it we can explore all topics with an expansive curiosity, offering clarity, insight, and where appropriate, challenge. It is an opportunity to deepen understanding of ourselves and our practice. It is a chance to self-reflect and grow.
My first session
I offer a free 30 minute initial session so that we can meet and talk through your personal and professional needs in supervision, and determine the relational rapport between us.
