About me and my therapy practice
How I work depends on your desired outcome and what you bring to the session.
My work with you incorporates a variety of therapeutic approaches ie:
The person centered approach = you the client decide what you wish to speak about thereby directing the sessions, whilst I provide you with safe compatible non-judgemental environment. The provision of this environment supports & encourages you to be your authentic self enabling you to draw on what you know to be best for you or desires of your choosing. Its easy to become overwhelmed and lose sight of this ability, working this way supports you in bringing this to the surface enabling you to bring about change in your life.
The Psychodynamic approach works with the conscious mind = things you are aware unaware of, the unconscious mind= things you are unaware of and the subconscious mind = things are unaware of but can be accessed relatively easily. Recognition and acknowledgement of events is known to support effective emotional movement which in turn can support your development.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy helps you to identify the connections between behaviours, thoughts & actions, this recognition will support you to move forward by choosing desired behaviours rather that being driven by behaviours. CBT is know for treating anxiety, depression and other conditions.
As a Qualified Mindfulness Teacher I incorporate mindfulness into Therapy. Mindfulness consists of intentionally bringing your attention to your present moment experience. Mindfulness is proven to help with cognitive adaptability, improve memory, reduce stress, rumination and depression as well as other issues
I provide a individualised service in order to meet your personal requirements.
Practice description
Therapy can be short = solution focused or long term = open ended and will take place weekly at the same time and location and will consist of either face to face or online therapy
My first session
Our first session will consist of a review of paperwork received from you prior to our first session and also and short period of therapy, which will provide you insight into working with me.

About me and my therapy practice
Integrating Mindfulness into Therapy predominantly entails using mindfulness as a tool to support enhance your wellbeing.
Sessions begin with a period of mindfulness this supports letting go of the days/lifes challenges allowing yourself to engage in the experience impartially. Impartiality supports you to engage in the session with a beginner's mind which aids the release of subjectively serving to enhance your curiosity and openness to your present experience
Over time you will notice trust in your feelings & your self developing, as you grow in accepting your here and now/present experience without struggle.
Practice description
50 minutes per sessions.
Once a week at the same time
Sessions are either face to face or online
