About me and my therapy practice

Trained as a person-centred therapist and qualified in 2004, I have worked in a variety of settings including the prison and probation service.  I qualified as a clinical supervisor in 2008.  For the past 12 years I have worked mostly in private practice from a summerhouse in my garden.  Currently I am not offering face to face sessions but can offer video or telephone counselling.

Practice description

My counselling room is a summerhouse in my garden but due to the current restrictions around Covid19 I am not seeing clients face to face.  Instead I can offer sessions via telephone and/or video call.

About me and my therapy practice

I have been a qualified supervisor since 2008.  since qualifying I have supervised therapists from a range of modalities including my own humanistic background.  My supervisees work in a variety of settings including private practice, NHS, and educational settings.  I am a person-centred supervisor and firmly believe in supervision being about the therapist and not just case management

Practice description

As a person-centred supervisor I believe that supervision works best when there is an atmosphere of trust and mutual sharing.  Supervision is a place to grow and learn, to be supported and uplifted. My supervisees often remark that they feel "held" by me and also challenged and encouraged.

My first session

I make no charge for our first session as I believe this gives us an opportunity to meet each other to decide together if we want to work with each other.  I currently am not offering sessions face to face but rather via telephone or video call.
